This letter documents the findings for
your records. All inspected drill sites, both past and present,
were found to be in excellent condition. Recent drill sites have
been backfilled, recontoured, topsoiled, scarified, and
revegetated. Past drill sites show no evidence of erosion and,
for the most part, well diversified and dense growth of grasses
and forbs with some sites beginning to show intrusion by shrubs.
All access roads were well maintained and in excellent condition
with no rutting or water control problems. This includes the
Sage Creek Road from Fed-61 to Fed-62 and the access road between
Fed-66 and Fed-68. While we cannot, at this time, release any
reclamation work as final, we do not anticipate any problems
developing, barring any unforeseen major precipitation events.
we will continue to monitor the surface erosion and revegetation
for the next few growing seasons. Thank you for providing such
excellent reclamation work on our public lands.
If you have any questions, please contact Robert Ernst at the
address listed above or call (970) 826-5079.
Sincerely,
~/ ~ ~~
John E.
