Johnston <br />Mountain Coal Company <br />Post Office Box 591 <br />Somerset, Colorado 81434 <br />Dear Ms. Johnston: <br />We are responding to your request for a Department of the <br />Army permit for geotechnical drilling and temporary stream <br />crossings. The project is located at Sylvester Gulch within <br />Section 15, Township 13 South, Range 90 West, Gunnison County, <br />Colorado. <br />The Chief of Engineers has issued nationwide general permit <br />number 06 which authorizes the discharge of dredged or fill <br />material in waters of the United States for survey activities. <br />Your project can be constructed under this authority provided the <br />work meets the conditions listed on the enclosed information <br />sheets. You must send a signed letter of certification to the <br />Corps of Engineers within 30 days after completion of the work <br />(see general condition number 14). A copy of the certification <br />statement is included for your use. <br />This verification is valid for two years from the date of <br />this letter. If you have not completed your project by that <br />time, you should contact the Corps of Engineers to obtain <br />information on any changes which may have occurred to the <br />nationwide permits. You are responsible for remaining informed <br />of such changes. <br />We have assigned number 199875314 to your project. Please <br />refer to this number in any correspondence with this office.
