Lieske Substation and <br />Power Line Installation <br />Dear Ms. Bim1s: <br />Enclosed are three copies of revised permit pages, new permit pages, new figures, mid <br />public notice for Teclmical Revision 97-27. This revision addresses the addition of new <br />electrical equipment at the existing YVEA owned Lieske Substation and a powerline tied <br />into the EMD ventilation site lines fiom the substation. A detailed description of the <br />activities associated with these additions is provided on revised perntit page 2.05-16(g). <br />Upon approval, die permit boundary will be extended to encompass the substation and <br />powerlines. The East 1/2 of Section 12 of TSN, R86W, currently owned by Cypnrs <br />Western Coal, will be included in the permit boundary. The extended permit boundary <br />will be shown on the maps with the PR 04 submittal. <br />Calculations for the change in bond due to this project are provided on new permit page <br />2.05-54(Y)(67). The total increase in bond for this project is $18,699. Twentymile Coal <br />Company curry ently maintains sufficient excess bond to cover these additions. <br />Thank you for your cooperation.
