Banta, <br />Dnision D~reolor <br />RE: Technical Revision to Designs for Culverts and Ditches at the ~ e <br />No 5 & 9 Mines (Our rile No. C-81-04, TR 020) <br />Dear Ms. Hook: <br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 35, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, the Mined Land Reclamation Division hereby issues notice that on <br />October 18, 1991, a technical revision application for a Dermit to conduct <br />coal mining operations, File No. C-81-044 (TR - 020), by Cyprus Empire <br />Corporation, P.O. Box 68, Craig, Colorado 81625, was deemed complete for the <br />purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act <br />and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The aeDlicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations on <br />Sections 300, 31 and 32, T6N, R9i~1 and Section 6, T5i`l, R91W of the 6th <br />P.M., Moffat County, Colorado. <br />The technical revision provides designs for ditches and culverts <br />throughout the permit area and proposes to eliminate one Small Area <br />Exemption in the Rock Crusher Area by adding this area to the 5A-P] <br />sediment pond drainage area. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />maps cf Round Bottom and Caster Gulch.
