Walker, Byron
From: Jerry Nettleton (JNettleton@peabodyenergy.com]
Sent: Wednesday, September 21, 2005 12:11 PM
To: byron.walker@state.co.us
Cc: mberdine@peabodyenergy.com
Subject: Twentymile Coal Company - Foidel Creek Mine (Permit CO-82-056), Minor Revisions MR05-
199 and MR05-200 Responses and Supporting Materials
r~.{JQ.~r~'~~
L_J ~ ~ ~ o6v A4abe
MROS-195 Bond MROS-196 Bond MROS-196 Bond MROS-199 Bond MROS-200 Bond hoist_foundation_895000103_GENERA
Es[.doc Est.doc Est.doc Est.doc Est.da -16-OS.pdf L ARRGT.PDf
Byron -
In response to our phone conversations on MR05-199 (Conveyor Support
Structure Repairs) and your 9/19/05 courtesy (e-mail) completeness comments
letter on MROS-200 (18-Right Escape Hoist), the following should address
the identified outstanding issues/information:
MROS-199
Attached is our bond reclamation cost estimate sheet (I have included
copies of the cost estimate sheets for MR's 195 - 200 addressing the page
numbering questions we discussed). Your question re: push distance for
concrete demolition debris was addressed by phone and as noted on the bond
estimate sheet.
MROS-200
Attached is a foundation plan and design drawing for the escape hoist. The
bond reclamation cost estimate we provided addresses demolition of the
foundations (hoist and drive unit), but does not include monies for the
hoist and drive mechanisms, since it is reasonable to assume that they
could be readily unbolted from the foundations and sold for reuse
elsewhere. The safety fencing will enclose both the escape hoist and
ventilation shaft opening and would be an 8'-high chain-link fence, as
shown on the plan view that I faxed to you.
Hopefully, this information addresses the outstanding concerns. Please
feel free to contact me with any questions -
Best regards,
Jerry
(See attached file: MR05-195 Bond Est.doc)(See attached file: MROS-196 Bond
Est.doc)(5ee attached file: MROS-198 Bond Est.doc)(See attached file:
MR05-199 Bond Est.doc)(See attached file: MR05-200 Bond Est.doc)
(See attached file: hoist foundation_8-16-OS.pdf){See attached file:
95000103 GENERAL ARRGT.PDF)
------------------
E-mail Disclaimer:
