In order to clarify the process and the
recipients of bond release applications, the Division is forwarding a letter from the Office of Surface
Mining, dated June 30, 1997, which should help. Since there have been personnel changes since the
original letter was sent in 1997, we just want to provide you a copy to assure that you have this information
in your files.
Sincerely,
;' f-~_.
P ectio Specialist
Enclosure
C:/jhb/bond release procedures.doc
Office of - Office of Colorado
Mined land Reclamation Arrive and Inacriva Mines Geological Survey
