(303) 247-1777
May 22, 1987
Ms. Karen A. Hellner
Mined Land Reclamation Division
423 Centennial Building
1313 Sherman Street
Denver, Co. 80203-2273
Dear Ms. :Hellner,
RECEOVED
MAY 2 G 1987
MINED LAND
RECLAMATION DIVIS1nN
Thank you for the copy of your May 14, 1987 Adequacy Letter
requirement to Mr. Randy Neil. To the best of my knowledge,
none of those items required by the division including publica-
tion, certified mailing to adjoining landowners and filing
for public review have been completed. I personally have not
received a mailing from Mr. Neil.
As we have previously discussed, it is my contention that
numbers :? through 6 of Exhibit C-Mining Plan and numbers 1
through 3 of Exhibit B-Reclamation Plan have not been adequately
addressed. All engineering data and professional land surveying
that has been submitted to you indicates that reclamation is
virtually impossible on this site and that the owners should
only be allowed to reclaim.
I'm sorry that I will not be attending the meeting in
Denver on the 27th and 28th but I hope that the division will
act on those requirements that have not been satisfied by Mr.
Neil. Thank you for your asistance in this matter. Please
keep me informed as to the divisions actions.
Cordially,
WESTERN REALTY OF DURANGO, INC.
Terry L.
