The report calculates the effect a layer of spoil material from the ventilation shaft will have <br />on the stability of the gob pile. Based on the results of the report, no special procedures are <br />required to place and compact the vent shaft spoil in the gob pile to maintain a factor of safety <br />greater than 1.5.
