<br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 118,
<br />Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, [hat on June 20, 1997, a permit renewaVrevision application for a
<br />permit to conduct coal mining operations, Permit No. C-81-O10 by Trapper Mining Inc., was considered complete
<br />for [Ite purposes of filing. All review and comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation
<br />Act and the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining initiate from
<br />this date of filing.
<br />The applicant proposes to continue surface coal mining and reclamation operations on land located approximately
<br />6 miles southwest of Craig, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows:
<br />Portions of Sections 5 and 6, Township 5 North, Range 90 Wes[ of [he 6th P.M.
<br />All or Portions of Sections I, 2, 3, 4 and 5, Township 5 North, Range 9l West of the 6th P.M.
<br />All or Portions of Sections 30, 31 and 32. Township 6 North, Range 90 West of the 6th P.M.
<br />All or Ponions of Sections 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 32, 33, 34, 35, and 36, Township 6 North, Range 91 West of the
<br />6th P.M.
<br />A copy of the renewaVrevision application is available for public inspection at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221
<br />W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625. For additional information, to provide written comments, or request an informal
