Long
Division Director
Re: Adequacy Requirements, Gunkel Pit No. 31, M-1993-088
Dear Mr. Miller:
There are only two more items which must be addressed. The applicant shall mail or
personally serve a copy of the published notice to:
1. Rule 1.6.2(1)(e)(i) -all Owners of Record of surface and mineral rights to the
affected land; and
Rule 1.6.2(1)(e)(ii) -all Owners of Record of surface lands that are within 200 feet of
the boundary of the affected land.
Pursuant to Rule 1.6.2(1)(g) -the applicant must submit proof to the Division that the
Owners of Record were notified. A return receipt of certified mailing or proof of personal
service is appropriate proof of notice.
The Division can not approve the conversion application until the proof of notices have been
received. If the noted items are not addressed by the September 17, 2001 decision due date,
the application may be denied.
If you have any questions, please give me a call.
Sincerely,
~?~ ~
James Dillie
Environmental Protection Specialist
cc: James Stevens
