J4 <br /> <br />III ~II~ ~~II~~II III <br />SLJbIDlARY OF MINIITES <br />MINED LAND RECLAMATION HOARD MEETING <br />JIILY 27-28, 1994 <br />The following board members were present: Catherine Kraeger-ROVey, <br />Maxine Stewart, Jim Cooley and Susan McCannon. <br />1.- JUNE MINUTES APPROVED <br />2. DIRECTOR AND EDO REPORTS <br />3. FORMAL PUBLIC HEARING <br />VAN'S CONSTRUCTION File No. M-94-018 <br />Mr. George Van DeVeer. The Board assessed civil penalties in <br />the amount of $9,000 and suspended $8,500. The operator was <br />also required to publish notice in the local newspaper that <br />mining gravel requires a permit. <br />4. FORMAL PUBLIC HEARING <br />VAN'S CONSTRUCTION File No. M-94-052 <br />Mr. George Van DeVeer. This Item was heard in conjunction <br />with Item 3, file No. M-94-018. Refer Item 3 for the Board's <br />disposition of this matter. <br />5. FORMAL PUBLIC HEARING <br />MS. PEGGIE WALDO File No. M-94-052 <br />The Board assessed a civil penalty of $50. The landowner was <br />also required to publish public notice that landowners are <br />liable along, with the operators, for securing the proper <br />permits, where required this is a requirement. <br />6. FORMAL PUBLIC HEARING <br />RIVER VALLEY ROCK, INC. File No. M-77-522 <br />The Board assessed a civil penalty in the amount of $20,000 <br />and suspended $17,000. <br />
