It is <br />my understanding that information submitted in the amendment app ication will <br />succeed all previous permit correspondence. Therefore, I have t Bated the <br />application as if it were fora new permit and offer my comments on the <br />The application is for a 200-acre placer mining operation in the <br />Mining District, at an elevation of 10,400 feet. Reclamation Re <br />proposed a gold placer operation capable of processing 10,000 cu <br />gravel per day from approximately April 15 to November 15 for a <br />years. The operator has proposed a minimum setback distance of <br />the Middle Fork of the South Platte River, which runs adjacent t <br />operation for approximately 4800 feet. Dozer methods will be em <br />mining and reclamation. The project will not require chemicals, <br />crushing, or truck hauling of raw materials. Alluvial gravels w <br />processed through an RMS-Ross Sluice Box-Series 500.
