Long <br />Diri~ion DireUOr <br />The Division received your letter of concern regarding the amendment application for the Butala pit. <br />The Division will forward a copy of the letter [o the operator so he can address your issues. The <br />Division will also begin the hearing process (informal conference, pre-hearing conference, etc.) in the <br />event you are objecting to the amendment of the permit. If you are objecting, in accordance with Rule <br />1.4.6 (b), you must inform the Division that your concerns are, in fact, objections. If you lodge an <br />objection, the Division will schedule an informal conference as soon after the close of the public <br />comment period as is practical. If the issues are not resolved during the informal conference, apre- <br />hearing conference will be scheduled pursuant [o the requirements of Rule 2.7.
