At this point, TBM has been scheduled
before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board on August 22 - 23, 1990. At
this meeting, the Division will be presenting the Board with the history of
the operation, its remaining reclamation obligations and current lack of right
of entry. The Division will present options and directions available to
resolve the current on-site concerns, including bond forfeiture. TBM and the
surface landowners have been notified and invited to attend and comment. If
the Board recommends bond forfeiture, the appropriate formal hearing will be
scheduled with attendant notifications. At this time, a formal hearing for
such an action could be scheduled.
Until the Board directs the Division on the avenue of action with which to
proceed, the Division cannot set forth amore specific timetable.
Sincerely- ~ /
~, i
Dan T.
