RECLAMATION DIVISION <br />1313 Sherman St. <br />Denver, CO 80202 <br />RE: Abatement material for alleged NOV C-85-039 <br />Dear Mr. Mathews: <br />Enclosed with this letter is the field and analytic data <br />for surface monitoring sites 14, 8, 1001, 1002, and alluvial <br />wells 001-5-5, 001-5-6, and 001-5-10. This data has been <br />required by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division (CMLRD) <br />to abate the alleged Violation C-85-039. This data includes <br />the June 6, 1985 submission and that which has subsequently <br />become available. <br />We believe that with this submission, abatement require- <br />ments, as addressed under the alleged NOV, have been satisfied. <br />Twentymile Coal Company has taken steps to assure compliance of <br />the approved hydrologic monitoring plan of Permit C-056-82. <br />TCC is currently re-evaluating the hydrologic program and may <br />be requesting input from the Division at a later date. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me at the above <br />letterhead address and telephone number. <br />Sincerely, <br />Richard D.
