Present zoning classification is agricultural/PUD,
which also allows industrial operations. Mr. McRennis
set a 14 day period for NCIG to notify DMG and the county
authorities of its plan to apply for the zoning change.
Mr. McRennis indicated that if such change was not
requested he may object to the changes in the present
reclamation plan requested under TR-10. If, however, the
zoning change is applied for by NCIG, he stated the
reclamation plan, as listed in the TR, is acceptable to
him.
I have discussed this subject with Mr. Rushton. 0.
Backer, President of NCIG. NCIG will not comply with the
request for a change in the zoning classification as the
present PUD clearly provides for and allows the planned
agricultural operations.
By copy of this letter, we are apprising Mr.
McKennis of NCIG's position.
Sinc',~l'y,
E.
