With respect to the comment regarding alluvial well TR-l.5 we did have one <br />comment. The DMG is in the process of adopting changes to our surface and ground water monitoring rules. <br />The rule changes will incorporate compliance with applicable ground water standards at established points of <br />compliance. Additional information regarding upgradient alluvial water quality may be requested at the time <br />the new rules are promulgated. <br />Enclosed you will find the Division of Minerals and Geology's Proposed Decision for Technical Revision No. 39. <br />Notice of the proposed decision wil I be published in the Steamboat Prlot as soon as possible. The first publication <br />will initiate the ten (10) day public comment period for the Division's decision. <br />Documentation must be submitted to the Division demonstratingthat acopy of the approved revision application <br />was sent to the Office of Surface Mining and the Bureau of Land Management. The material should be sent <br />within I S days of final approval. <br />Please refer to the Performance Bond heading on the enclosed proposed decision form. If the amount of Bond <br />Held equals or exceeds the Revised Liability, you need not submit additional bond. However, if [he Revised <br />Liability exceeds the Bond Held, please submit additional bond or rider to your existing bond that equals or <br />exceeds the Revised Liability.
