(Operator) and with the authority to act on behalf of the Operator hereby
requests the following:
Colorado Marble, Inc. wishes to extend the decision date to February 23, 2007 for permit
amendments as per the Mine Land Reclamation Board Orders currently under consideration. The
extension is necessary to give the DMG ample time to review the application now before them.
The right of entry issues with U.S. Forrest Service lands lying within proposed affected land
boundaries has been resolved as per a letter obtained from the USFS and is included with the
permit application. We have also begun the process of public notice and need time to respond to
comments if applicable.
I hope that by extending the decision date we can complete the permitting process by the
date requested herein. Our plan is to continue working to rectifying the remaining issues now
before the Board as expeditiously as possible and come into and remain in compliance with all
the mining laws and regulations for the State of Colorado.
Erica I sincerely appreciate all your assistance in this regard and look forward to working
with you as we continue to proceed towards full compliance.
Resp vely,
Bob Holloway
President
Monarch Mountain Marble Company, LLC
