Long; <br />Division Dveaor <br />The Division recently sent notice that a technical revision to the <br />North Thompson Creek permit was being required by the Division <br />prior to October 26, 1994. The revision is required to address <br />permit defects associated with impoundments on the mine site. That <br />letter, dated September 27, 1994, neglected to include a time frame <br />within which the Division would issue a proposed decision on the <br />proposed revision. <br />In order to assure a timely resolution of the issues identified as <br />permitting defects, the Division will issue a proposed decision on <br />the revision within thirty days of the date of filing.
