Please submit your responses to the Division by August 10, 1993 <br />so that they may be reviewed by August 24, 1993. <br />EXHIBIT C - Mining Plan Map <br />1. Ackerman Land and Livestock is shown as the surface owner of lands over <br />the proposed amended acreage but land ownership within two hundred feet <br />of all permit boundaries has not been indicated. Please clarify Map C <br />land ownership within two hundred feet of all boundaries. <br />Please include on Map C service/haul roads that will be constructed along <br />the east edge of Phase 2 and extending north into Phase 3. <br />EXHIBIT D - Mining Plan <br />Regarding Phases 3, 4, and 5 the applicant states that more detailed <br />mining plans and decisions cannot be made at this time because <br />exploration drill holes have not been placed in these phases. The <br />Division requests a clarification of whether or not the proposed <br />Reclamation Plan will be applicable to these phases. Will sandstone slab <br />be exposed at approximately the same slope and will this exposure be <br />continuous down the slope of the phases? The applicant should st,bmit to <br />the Division mining methods, erosion control methods, and a timetable for <br />the purpose of establishing the relationship between mining and <br />reclamation during the different phases of a mining operation. Flease <br />note that the operator shall not be required to meet specific dates for <br />initiation, or completion of mining in a phases as may be identified in <br />the timetable (Rule 2.1.2(5) of the Mineral Rules and Regulation<). If <br />this information cannot be provided to the Division at this time, the <br />applicant will be required to submit an amendment before mining is <br />initiated in Phases 3, 4, and 5 in order to provide adequate notification <br />and review of the Mining and Reclamation Plans for these phases. <br />
