~ • iii iuiuiiniiitii <br />• EXHIBIT E <br />The operator proposes to reclaim the land for wildlife habitat/recreation lake <br />because of its proximity to Cache La Poudre River, a natural wildlife habitat <br />with, and adjacent to, the permit area. <br />In addition, because of the location in the flood plain, the pits will be <br />"wet", One area has been previously mined and the spring month's high water <br />level is approximately three to five (3' to 5') feet below the existing ground <br />elevation. The entire acreage will accord to fish and waterfowl habitat, along <br />with small game animals. <br />The screening mounds along the periphery will be constructed with side slopes <br />of not greater than 4:1 and will be revegetated with properly selected grasses <br />and shrubs to prevent erosion problems. <br />Topsoil stockpile will be stripped from the area to be disturbed and <br />stockpiled. A mixture of grasses suitable to the area has been recommended by <br />the Soil Conservation Service. Upon completion of the pit or the end of the <br />lease of this area, the County will complete the recommended seeding and <br />revegetation of the site in accordance with the Soil Conservation Service <br />recommendations. <br />• <br />• <br />
