BLM Lands, Right of Entry
Colowyo has agreed to a stipulation that forbids action
on the permit without BLM authorization.
2. Rio Blanco. Special Use Permit
Rio Blanco agrees that Colowyo does not need a special
use permit if mine activities are limited to the
construction of fences or ditches.
3. AVS Update information
Colowyo has updated the Division on two occasions since
this concern was expressed.
4. Reduction in Minimal Topsoil Removal Depths for the
Burnette and Work Soils
Reduction in guides for minimal soil removal does not
alter the operators responsibility to salvage all
available topsoil.
The variance requested by Colowyo (page 4.06-1) is
consistent with that found in other coal operation
permits.
Michael 8. Long,
Division Director
