Long <br />From: James Dillie ~, Division Director <br />Re: Tailings Impoundment Reclamation Evaluation <br />San Luis Project, Permit No. M-88-112 <br />As you recall, the Board ordered BMRI to complete several corrective actions as result of the <br />1992 NOV. One of the corrective actions was Abatement Requirement No. 8, w~ich required <br />BMRI to reevaluate the tailings chemical constituency in order to determine whe er the excursion <br />from permit cyanide standards had resulted in a change in the tailings character. <br />4 <br />BMRI submitted copies of a reclamation evaluation review report on May 13, 19 3. On August 6, <br />1993, the Division received comments from Nora Jacquez and on August 9, I99 ,the PAES <br />submitted their comments regarding the reclamation evaluation report. <br />On August 12, 1993, Jim Pendleton provided comments of his review of BMRI's report and the <br />comments from Ms. Jacquez and the PAES. <br />On August 23, 1993, Harry Posey presented his comments and response to the reports. <br />On October 1, 1993, the Division received BMRI's response to all of the comme~tts noted above. <br />Did either one or both of you review BMRI's response?
