Also, a 10,000 gallon magnesium chloride storage tank <br />will be located on the pad which will house the gas tank. <br />The gas tank will hold unleaded fuel for use in fueling the mine's <br />vehicle fleet. The facility will be located in the northeast <br />corner of the equipment parking area. The concrete pad will have <br />steel posts placed strategically around the perimeter of the pad to <br />minimize the potential of vehicles running into the tanks. <br />The gas tank is of double wall construction, thus negating the need <br />for a secondary containment structure. The containment system was <br />discussed with the Department of Health and they agreed that the <br />double wall construction will satisfy secondary containment <br />requirements. <br />The installation of the facility will require a $5,420 increase in <br />the bond.
