Inc., 3800 County Road 63.9. <br />Trinidad, Colorado 81082, fire operator of Golden Eagle Mine Permit number C-81-013, is Sling for <br />Phaze II Bond releaze with [he State of Colorado. Division of Minerals and Geology. Permit C-81-013 <br />was issued by the Division on July 26, 2000. <br />The Golden Eagle Mine is located in Sections 20. 21. 23 & 29, T33S, R67W. A total of 59 acres of <br />surface disturbance from mining is covered by a Coal Reclamation Bond in the amount of 5477,085. The <br />permittee is applying for and Division guidelines allow for the release of up to 85°/q of the total bond <br />amount in a Phase II Bond release. <br />The Golden Eagle Mine ceased production on December 3l, 1995. Phase I bond release (removal of <br />structures and 5na1 grading) was approved on Ivfarch 13. 1998. In accordance with the approved <br />reclamation plan and az required for Phase II bond release, a vegetation assessment of the reclamation <br />areas was completed in July of 2000 during the third growing season. <br />Any wriroen comments, objections or requests for a public hearing or infortoal conference regarding this <br />bond release application must be submitted to the Division of Minerals and Geology. 1313 Sherman Street <br />Room 215.
