There ore, no <br />exposure of ground water can occur during and <br />after mining operations. <br />The proposed operation will consume <br />ground water by _ evaporation, __ dust <br />control, _ reclamation, _ and water <br />removed in the mined product. Prior to initiation <br />of these uses of groundwater, the applicant will <br />need to obtain a gravel well permit. Prior to <br />obtaining a permit, an approved water supply <br />plan or a decreed plan for augmentation will be <br />required. <br />,The applicant has indicated plans to use <br />other water for uses at the gravel pil or for <br />storage in the gravel pit. The applicant will need <br />to provide evidence to this office that the water is <br />permitted or decreed (or such uses. <br />COMMENTS: <br />Prior to approving a gravel well <br />permit, the applicant will need a wavier of <br />objection from well owners within 600 feet <br />or request a hearing before the Slate <br />Engineer. <br />The proposed operation may have <br />potential impact on existing water rights <br />nearthe projectlocation.
