Lang <br />Box 773598 Div~s~on Oneaor <br />Steamboat Springs, CO 80477 <br />Re: Coal Exploration File No. X-96-219-00 <br />Dear Routt County Commissioners: <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology is proposing to approve the release of coal exploration <br />bonds submitted by Cottonwood Land Company for Notices of Intent No. X-96-219-00. This partial <br />bond release is for all grading, all roads, all wells except for 6 drillholes that remain as monitoring <br />wells, and revegetation for all sites but one. These bonds were submitted to cover reclamation costs of <br />exploration drill holes in Routt County. An inspection showed that all disturbance associated with the <br />exploration project•has not been adequately reclaimed. <br />The legal description for the project is as follows: <br />Section 1, 2, 10, 12 of TSN, R89W <br />Section 18, 19, 31 of TSN, R88W <br />Section 20, 28, 30, 32, 36 of T6N, R89W <br />Section 28, of T6N, R88W <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may submit <br />written comments to the Division at the address below within 30 days of publication of this proposed <br />decision in the Steamboat Pilot. <br />If you have any questions, please feel free to call. <br />Sincerely, <br />G'~Gz~~' <br />Jim R.
