TRAPPER MINING INC.
RECEIVED
October 13, 2005
Mr. Jim Burnell
Environmental Protection Specialist
Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Deaz Mr. Burnell:
OCT 14 2005
Division of Minerals & Geology
Re: Trapper Mining Inc.
Coal Exploration NOI-CX-2005-189-06 Amendment No. 1
Please find enclosed duplicate copies of a drilling Notice of Intent (NOI) Amendment that will
add 12 new drill sites (13 total holes) to recently approved NOI-CX-2005-189-06. Our drilling
contractor had originally planned to drill these additional holes next year but decided that they
might be able to get started on some of the drilling yet this year.
Enclosed with this NOI Amendment application is a map that includes both drill hole locations
approved with the original NOI-CX-2005-189-06 application as well as the new holes proposed
with this amendment application. Please refer to the original NOI-CX-2005-189-06 application
for a proposed seed mix to be used for reclaiming the sites as well as a hydrologic monitoring
well schematic.
As we discussed by phone, I did not make an estimate of reclamation costs for the new holes
included with this amendment application, leaving that up to the Division. Please get back with us
with your estimate as soon as feasible so that we can begin working with our surety company on a
new bond rider.
Please contact me or Jim Mattern if you have any questions regarding the enclosed information.
We stand ready to respond to any comments or questions you may have.
Sincerel ,
Forrest V.
