Box 1430 Palisade, CO 81526 Re: Roadside & Cameo Permit Renewal, Permit No. C-81-041 Oear Mr. Reschke: We have received your application for renewal of a valid, existing permit to conduct coal mining in Colorado. Our initial review indicates that all preliminary items required by the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, C.R.S. 34-33-101 et sec. have been submitted. Thus, your application has been deemed complete for the purposes of filing on this date. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of filing. The proeosed ne~.~spaper advertisement submitted with the application requires some correction. Sections 6, 7, and i8 should be included in Township 11 South, Range 97 West. This correction will accurately describe the permit area. Also, please eliminate the numerals 423 from the Division's address. 'fcu <_hould commence publication of this advertisement as specified in Rule 2.07.3(2) of the Regulations. Proof or the publication of the advertisement must be filed with the Division nct later than four weeks after the last publication date. A copy of the application, less confidential items, must be filed for public inspection with the appropriate public office as specified by you on the application form. Any subsequent changes or additions to the application must also be made in this local government copy. The staff is currently reviewing your application to determine whether the items ycu have submitted are adequate in terms of meeting the requirements of the Act and Regulations. Additional informaticn may be required for purposes of adequacy. According to the provisions of Section 34-33-118(5) of the Act, you will be notified no later than September 8, 1992 of this Division's preliminary findings as to the substantive adequacy of your application.
