Box 160 <br />Burlington, CO 80807 <br />~~ <br />Re: Raymond Duell Pit, Permit No. M-1989-004, Receipt of 112 to 110 Construction <br />Materials Reclamation <br />Permit Conversion Application Package, CN-~/ <br />Dear Ms. Brownfield: <br />On March 1, 2006, the Division of Minerals and Geology received additional materials to your 112 to 110 Construction <br />Materials Reclamation Pemvt Conversion Application package for the Raymond Duell Pit, Permit No. M-1989-004. <br />Preliminary review of the information received determined that the following items must be received before the Division <br />can consider your application as being submitted and technical review can begin: <br />RXFTiRiT R -Site Descrjptinn ~$lile fi3.2~~; You must address Item (a) to the extent necessary to <br />demonstrate compliance with the applicable performance standard requirements of Rule 3. At a minimum, you <br />must include a description of the soil characteristics in the area of the proposed operation. The local office of the <br />Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) may provide you with this information. as well as <br />recommendations for Exhibit D -Reclamation Plan; <br />You must address Item (b) to the extent necessary to <br />demonstrate compliance with the applicable performance standard requirements of Rule 3. At a minimum, you <br />must identify any permanent man-made structures within two hundred (200) feet of the affected area and the <br />owner of each strncture. Permanent man-made structures include houses, barns, fences, above or below ground <br />utilities, irrigation ditches, maintained or public roads, bridges, wells, pipelines, water storage impoundments, <br />railroad tracks, cemeteries, and communication antennas, etc. Each structure should be located on Exhibit E - <br />Map; <br />F.XHTRTT F, -Man (Rule fi3.51: (1) Irt addition to the requirements of 6.2.1(2), you must provide a map that <br />clearly describes the features associated with the mining plan and the components of the Reclamation Plan. <br />Include one map for the mine plan and one map for the Reclamation Plan. The map(s) must be drawn to a scale <br />no smaller than appropriate to cleazly show all elements that aze required to be delineated by the Act and these <br />Rules; show a north arrow, note any section comers adjacent to the proposed operation, and indicate the date <br />illustrated. At a minimum, maps must include the following information: <br />(3) Reclamation Plan Man <br />(a) show the gradient of all reclaimed slopes (horizontal:vertical) sufficient to describe the post <br />mine topography; <br />Office of Office of Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactive Mines Geological Survey <br />
