renew a valid, existing coal mining and reclamation permit was issued to
MINREC, Inc. on June 14, 1993 for the Red Canyon Mine.

The underground mining operation is located approximately five miles northwest
of Cedaredge in Delta County, Colorado. The area is more specifically
described as follows:
W 1/2, SE 1/4, Section 2; E 1/2 NW 114, W 1(2 NE 1/4, SE 1f4 NE 1/4,
E 1/2 SW 1/4, NW 1/4 SE 1/4, SW 1/4 SW 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 11; SW 1/4
NW 1/4, W 1/2 SE 1/4 NW 1/4, W 1/2 SW 1/4 Section 12; NW 1/4 NW 1/4
Section 13, a portion of NE 1/4 NE 1/4 Section 14; Township 13 South,
Range 95 West of the 6th Prime Meridian.
The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map
of Cedaredge, Colorado.
