Long <br />Division DveUOr <br />The Division has reviewed the technical revision application for an incidental <br />boundary change. This revision to add approximately 8.5 acres to the permit area <br />was required ae a result of the mid-term review completed earlier this year. The <br />Division has the following questions and comments regarding this revision: <br />1. Exhibit 1 - Surface and Subsurface Ownership Hape, should be updated to <br />reflect current owners and the permit area as approved by the Div ie ion. <br />These maps should show the 8.5 acre area that is being added during this <br />revision, in addition to the coal lease areas. These maps should be <br />prepared as required by rule 2.10. In addition, please include the scale <br />and a north arrow. Please submit revised maps. <br />2. The vicinity map which is shown on Exhibit 6 and provided with this <br />application, should be revised to show the permit area ae approved by the <br />Division. The map should also include the 8.5 acre area that is being <br />added during this revision, in addition to the coal lease areas. Please <br />submit a revised map. <br />3. Exhibit 6, provided with this application, which shows the extent of mine <br />workings for the O.C. #2 Mine appears to be very similar in extent to <br />Exhibit 6, currently in the permit. During the midterm review, an up to <br />date map showing the final extent of the mine workings was requested. <br />Please verify that no additional mining occurred between August 31, 1991 <br />(the last time Exhibit 6 was updated) and now. <br />4. Please submit the affidavit of publication from the Gunnison Country Times <br />for this technical revision. <br />This completes the Division's preliminary review of Technical Revision No. 2. <br />Please respond to the Div ision•s questions by June 2, 1995.
