Under this permit, Sandco, <br />.nc. is required to reclaim the permitted land areas as <br />outlined in the Reclamation Plan. Included in this plan are <br />t:he areas noted on Exhibit C, Mining Plan, as existing and <br />l.`uture haul roads, alternate stockpile area, and the <br />westerly channel bank of the Animas River along the <br />northerly two thirds of the permit area. <br />During 199] the new ownership, Redcliff Development, Inc., <br />[~eworked the entire westerly river channel bank described <br />above and excavated and placed fill materjal on the <br />t~aulroads and the alternate stockpile area pursuant to the <br />Dalton Ranch And Golf Club project. <br />In accordance with Rule 7.7 (2) of the Mineral Rules And <br />F:egiilations, Sandco, Inc. requests a rcleasr. of all <br />responsibility for the reclamation of all lands lying <br />westerly of the recorded ]and boundary established by the <br />ownership change. <br />Sandco, Inc. is not requesting a reduction of the <br />reclamation bond amount that guarantees the reclamation of <br />ttie remaining portions of the permitted area. <br />Sincer~~/el~/y, <br />1 "~''~y~ <br />SANDCO, INC. <br />Encl. 1 copy of Exhibit C, Mining Plan <br />Photos numbered 1 t}~ru 4 with captions <br />cc: La Plata County Planning Department W/0 Encl. ~ <br />RedclDi-fyf~-Development, Inc.
