Handbook Guidelines (HBG) 1.I
An application for bond release shall contain the following information:
1. HBG 1.I.A.1 Date of Request
Date of request;
The Application was submitted September 24, 1997. See paragraph III.A above.
2. HBG 1.I.A.2 Permittee
Petmittee;
The Application stated that Colowyo Coal Company, L.P., is requesting the Phase I Bond
Liability Release. See paragraph III.A above.

Date permit was approved;
The Application cited the date the permit was approved in the public notice, a copy of which
was submitted within the Application. November 5, 1992, the date of renewal under which
the Application was submitted, was cited. During processing of the Application, the Permit
was renewed (Renewal 3) effective November 5, 1997.
