Long <br />Division Direcmr <br />5134 Ute Hwy. <br />Lyons, CO 80540 <br />RE: Lyons Quarry, Technical Revision Approval, Permit No. M-1977-208, Revision No. TR-I <br />Dear Lohr: <br />On January 31, 2000 the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the Technical Revision application <br />submitted to the Division on December 1, 1999, addressing the following: <br />Place a 7 acre, 2' thick interim cap on the CKD disposal site ar regutar intervals, before the CKD <br />reaches 20' deep. Monitoring is required biannually, with standards to be set in June, 2001. <br />The terms of the Technical Revision No. 1 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit <br />No. M-1977-208. All other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-1977-208 remain in full force <br />and effect. <br />The estimated liability amount of $44,000.00 for the Lyons Quarry, when added to the existing liability <br />amount of $325,100.00, exceeds the performance bond held. If you have not already done so, please <br />submit additional bond in the amount of $3b9,100.00. The attached cost estimate outlines the current <br />costs of the additional reclamation work.
