Following are Bowie Resources Limited's
responses to the DMG's comments and concerns:
Subsidence
The operator mentions potential mining-induced seismicity. How will this impact
be measured or monitored during operations?
BRL - I assume the question relates to the Terror Creek reservoir. BRL made the
following commitment on page 2.05-109: A detailed subsidence study for Terror
Creek Reservoir and dam will be completed prior to any mining within one mile of
the reservoir. The study will establish baseline conditions, potential mining-
induced seismicity and potential translated effects. BRL has not yet prepared a
seismic monitoring plan. The current mine plan projects mining within one mile of
Terror Creek Reservoir during the first quarter of 2003.
2. Please correct the text on page 2.05- i 11 to read "mile" rather than 'mine".
BRL -The correction was made to page 2.05-111.
3. Rule 2.05.6(6)(c)(i)(E) requires subsidence monitoring data to be submitted 'at
least" on asemi-annual frequency. Please revise the text to commit to
semiannual submittal no more than 60 days following the monitoring period.
