The submittal was deemed complete for
the purposes of filing on August 23, 1996; however, we have the following adequacy issues.
Please provide a response as soon as possible so that we may proceed with approval of this
revision.
1) Please verify that all concrete foundation materials will be checked for hazardous
contamination prior to demolition, and that any materials found to be contaminated with
hydraulic fluids, solvents or other materials will be disposed of at a proper offsite facility.
2) Please verify that if foundation materials are found to be free from contamination problems,
and if onsite burial is chosen, then the materials will be rubblized prior to burial. Please
also specify the location for burial and the methods which will be used to ensure stability of
any backfill material used to cover the broken concrete.
3) How will the existing filtration field and septic systems be decommissioned and removed?
4) Please verify that areas beneath [he buildings to be demolished will be tested for
contamination from such materials as hydraulic fluids, oils, solvents, antifreeze, etc. prior
to fmal burial. Please also verify that any contamination will be properly reported and
mitigated.
- - - ~ - iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii lilt
STATE OF COLORADO
5) We will assess bond issues as part of the ongoing midterm review.
