MANAGEAIFJYr <br />RECEIVED <br />'JUN p~41999 <br />Division of Minerals 8 GeWogy <br />The abatement step for the subject notice of violation is to submit a technical revision to show <br />that the static factor of safety of the refuse pile is equal to or greater than 1.5 for the life of the <br />refuse pile with the material strength characteristics determined to be appropriate for the specific <br />compaction and material characteristics previously determined in the field. The technical revision <br />application is to be submitted by 5 PM, Friday June 11, 1999. <br />Enclosed is the required technical revision application. The technical revision is a stability analysis <br />prepared by Lambert and Associates dated May 26, 1999.
