Specifically those items listed under item nine (9) pages <br />4 and 5. <br />9(a) WFC began discharging mine water from Pond 003 on June <br />16, 1988• Phase I of the demonstration project will be <br />complete on June 30, 1988. WPC will provide the <br />Division with the data as required by the Order. <br />9(b) WFC has been in compliance with all parameters to date. <br />9(c) The MLRD issued a proposed decision to approve the use <br />of chemical treatment on May 24, 1988. Public notice <br />initiated June 3, 1988• Depending upon public comment, <br />WFC expects a final decision on June 24, 1988. <br />s(d) By letter of June 3, 1988 WFC notified the Division <br />that the cleanup from Pond 003 had been completed. The <br />method of cleanup was addressed in this letter. Solids <br />were truck hauled to the New Elk coal processing waste <br />bank approximately four (4) miles west of Pond 003- <br />9(e) The technical revision for ponds 005 and 006 was <br />submitted to the MLRD on June 9, 1988• WFC has not <br />received notification from the MLRD that this revision <br />has been deemed complete for filing.
