Minrec, the owner of the North Thompson Creek Mine, <br />requests the elimination of the wet testing requirements at the mine. We <br />also request the inactivation of the Water Discharge Permit at the above <br />mentioned mine site. The current discharge point is identified as Outfall <br />001. Minrec would agree to the removal of the PVC pipe at Outfall 001 <br />and channel the flow of water from Pond #3 by means of an open ditch. <br />Your consideration of these requests is greatly appreciated.
