Depi. ui i:aterai Iteswrees <br />RE: Cheyenne County Pit No. 1 - File No. 83-105 <br />Cheyenne County Pit No. 2 - File No. 83-106 <br />Dear Mark: <br />i <br />This is in response to your letter of September 16, 1983, regarding the <br />Cheyenne County gravel pits. <br />Pit No. 1 <br />Exhibit C: The area where topsoil is to be stockpiled is farmland. It <br />will be ripped and farmed. It will not be seeded as it is <br />farmland now and will continue to be farmland in the future. <br />Exhibit D: The operator will re-establish the stream bed in its present <br />location. If necessary the County will ask for an amendment <br />to the permit at a later date if this is not the situation. <br />Pit No. 2 <br />The pit area should be considered to be thirty-five acres. The total pit <br />will be on the County land end, not on any other property. <br />I hope that this will answer the questions regarding this matter.
