(MCC) submits the enclosed Minor Revision to reconcile <br />previously permitted drill holes and pads with current drilling activities and plans. This <br />reconciliation will not increase the disturbed azeas previously permitted. Changes include locations <br />of permitted drill hole or additional drill holes on previously permitted pads. <br />Mountain Coal Company (MCC) proposes to drill these wells in Sections 22 and 23, of T.13S, <br />R.90W, 6`I' Principal Meridian, Gunnison County, Colorado. The project is within the current <br />permitted coal mining area (Permit Number C-80-007). The wells are located on Federal Coal <br />(BLM) Lease COC-056447. All drill holes permitted for this project aze located on property owned <br />by Mountain Coal Company, or on land owned by the USFS. The Paonia district ranger has <br />previously approved all holes drilled on USFS land, no additional holes are proposed on USFS land <br />under this Minor Revision. The holes are being drilled in the area approved under TR-96 and <br />subsequent approvals for the annual operating plans i.e. MR-306 (2005), for Methane Drainage <br />Wells. <br />MCC's overall plan for drilling and reclaiming MDWs was originally approved by CDMG on 15 <br />July 2002 as Technical Revision 96 -Project Plan for Methane Drainage Wells for Panels 16, 17, <br />175, 18-24.
