<br /> <br />Sl F <br />SECTION 7.0 <br />Miscellaneous <br />~iiiiiiiiii~uiiim <br />999 <br />Doc Date:12/1112001 <br />7.1 Vegetation Monitoring on Trapper Reclaimed Lands {1998) <br />During the 1998 trek! season, vegetation monitoring was aooomplished on 874 acres of Trapper <br />roGaimed land in Ashmore, CoR, Dertinger and Hawken pits. A total of 179 54meter transacts were <br />monitored. Vegetation parameters sampled inGuded ground cover, species composition and woody <br />stem density. <br />Vegetation monitoring planned for 1999 will inGude Phase II bond release sampling as well as some <br />adddional routine sampling. MonBoring will occur in Ashmore, Dertinger and Hawken pi6s. <br />7.2 Grazing of Reclaimed Lands <br />No cattle grazing ocrarned on Trapper reclaimed lands during 1998, nor is grazing planned for 1999. <br />7.3 1999 Revegefation Seed Mikes <br />Section 3.8.3.5 of Trappers Mining and Reclamation pennR requires that the Division be notified of <br />the seed mbdures proposed to be used each year. Tables 7-1 through 7-4 give the 1999 proposed <br />mbdures. <br />The seed mbdures presented in Tables 7-1 through Tat were approved with Technical Revision TR- <br />74. <br />7.4 Trapper Mine Facilities <br />In 1998, no changes were made to Trapper Mine fatalities. <br />• <br />
