A. WHEN AND WHAT DEPTH OVERBURDEN WALL BE REPLACED IN RELATION TO EXTRACTION. <br />AS EXPLAINED EARLIER IN THIS APPLICATION, THE TOP LIFT OF MATERIAL WITH TOPSOIL AND <br />REMOVED OVERBURDEN WAS MID 1970-S O CONSTRUCTION THERE WAS NO <br />OVERBURDEN EFT AT THAT TIME AND NONE WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THIS OPERATION. <br />B. MAXIMUM GRADIENT OF RECLAIMED SLOPES (HORIZONTAL: VERTICAL). <br />THE FINISHED PIT FLOOR WILL BE EFT COMPARATIVELY LEVEL, AS INDICATED IN THE OVERLOT GRADING <br />AND EROSION CONTROL PLAN. THE ONLY SLOPES WALL BE THE 3H:1V BACKSLOPES ON EITHER SIDE OF <br />THE STRATMOOR HILLS WATER LINE, WHICH CROSSES BOTH THE MIDDLE AND SOUTH PIT. <br />C. MEASURES THAT WALL BE TAKEN TO REVEGETATE THE SITE, IF APPLICABLE. <br />(1) THICKNESS OF THE PLANT GROWTH MEDIUM TO BE REPLACED <br />AS STATED EARLIER, THE TOPSOIL AND OVERBURDEN WERE REMOVED IN THE MID 1970'S SO THERE IS <br />NO TOPSOIL ON SITE. HOWEVER, THERE HAS BEEN SOME NATURAL REVEGETATION, AS SOME HUMUS <br />HAS BUILT UP AVERAGING 4 ", WHICH WALL BE CALLED THE GROWTH MEDIA. THIS MEDIA WALL BE <br />STOCKPILED ON THE PIT PERIMETER FOR REPLACEMENT IN RECLAMATION. FROM THE REVEGETATION <br />THAT HAS OCCURRED IN THE LAST 20 PLUS YEARS, IT APPEARS THAT THIS MEDIA IS ADEQUATE TO <br />SUPPORT REVEGETATION IN RECLAMATION, EVEN THOUGHT THERE IS NO TRUE TOPSOIL ON SITE. <br />(II) TIME OF SEEDING, SEEDBED PREPARATION, TYPE APPLICATION RATE AND SOIL INCORPORATIONS <br />METHOD OF FERTILIZER APPLICATION. <br />SEEDING WALL BE DONE IN THE LATE FALL AS THIS HAS SHOWN THE BEST RESULTS. THE SEEDBED <br />WILL BE SCARIFIED.
