Partnership. The
proposed mine is known as the Russell Ranch Pit and is located at or near Section 32,
Township INoRh, Range 93 West, 6w Prime Meridian in Rio Blanco County.
When inspecting the mining plan, there wes na mention of burros for dust and noise
control.
The map was not specific about how close this operation would be to the neighbors and
none of the land owners were named that join the land owned by Russell Ranches. It has
been brought to our attention that a subdivision exemption was granted by Rio Blanco
County in close proximity to the proposed pit.
At a public meeting it was indicated that water for fugitive dust control would come from
a ditch or from waste water. The oNy ditch water we arc aware of in the area comes
from the Miller Creek Ditch. To our knowledge, Miller Creek Ditch water is not
adjudicated for industrial use,

Thank you for your considerate n,
fames L, W ~ on ` ~~
C..

Diana K, Watson
