In order to meet the requirements of the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Act and the Mineral Rules and Regulations, the following <br />items need to be addressed: <br />1) The Exhibit C map, showing the adjoining surface owners, <br />does not meet the requirements of Rule 6.2.1(2)(e). The <br />map you submitted has a 1" = 1280' scale. Pursuant to <br />Rule 6.2.1(2)(e), the scale must be 1" = 100' to 1" = 660'. <br />Please revise the map scale and submit 5 copies to the <br />Division. <br />2) During my inspection of the site on September 19, 1995, I <br />noticed a power line due south of the North side of your <br />P~ ,,~'_ proposed permit boundary (traversing east and west). <br />~"„Tr~),~' Since we were unable to locate the permit boundary markers <br />~~• I could not tell if this structure was within 200' of your <br />permit area. If the power line is within 200' of the <br />?~ permit boundary, it must be shown on Exhibit C and you must <br />comply with the requirements of C.R.S. 34-32.5-115(4)(e). <br />If it is not within 200' of the permit boundary a statement <br />to that affect will suffice. <br />3) Pursuant to Rule 6.4.4(f)(ii), you need to submit a <br />narrative in Exhibit D, regarding the nature of the stratum <br />immediately beneath the material you are mining. <br />4) What do you intend to do with the existing woody <br />vegetation? <br />Pursuant to Rule 3.1.9(2), the operator should make a <br />reasonable effort to insure that existing woody vegetation <br />
