Johnson:
We have received and reviewed the Pond F Certification documents. It is
noted that the "as-built" Emergency Spillway depth is 0.5' shallower than the
design specification; however, the "as-built" configuration is accepted because
it still allows at least 1' of freeboard (1.06') as required by Rule 4.05.6(8)(d).
Also, the ~po11 Spring Discharge Volume (ac-f t) and the 10 year - 24 hour
Event Runoff Volume (ac-ft) values are larger than the initial design values.
We assume that this means that the pond will accommodate the increased amounts and
this does not mean that the actual inflow estimates have been increased. Notify
us if this assumption is not correct.
In general, the "as-built" figures indicate that the pond is built at least
as large as required and they are acceptable. The certification statements
are also acceptable.
Tharyk"you for your continued cooperation.
ly,
Berry
ion Specialist
DAB/vjr
423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203-2273 Tel.
