To make the data
useable, the Division will need the following information:
1. Map showing location of holes, or an appropriately detailed description
of each site so that the Division can accurately establish site
locations on maps currently on file;
2. Well logs or other lithologic description of each water producing zone
pumped. These descriptions should clearly indicate how the water
producing zones relate to the coal seams of interest and planned depth
of extraction;
3. Surface elevation at the top of each hole;
4. The Division assumes that the various depths reported in the August 13,
1986 correspondence is the depth of the hole at the time of water
production reported. If this assumption is not correct, please
clarify; and,
5. If the above assumption is correct, Pueblo Coal should identify, if
possible, the initial depth of hole at which water was encountered.
If you have any questions, or require any clarifications, please contace me.
Sincerely,
Steven Renner
Hydrologist
SR/iml
cc: Michael Savage
Peter O'Connor
4019E
423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street
Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
