At the regulazly scheduled hearing of the Rio Blanco County Board
of Commissioners held June 27, 1994, in Meeker, Colorado. The Board
unanimously voted to conditionally approve Special Use Permit #94-10 for
the development and operation of a 40 acre gravel pit as outlined in your
permit.
The Boa.-d's conditions of approval are as follows:
1. Weeds will be adequately controlled in all disturbed areas.
2. A Fugitive Pazticulate Emission Permit be obtained from the
Colorado Department of Health,
3. A Mined Land Reclamation Permit be obtained from the Mined Land
Reclamation Division of the Colorado Department of Natural
Resources.
4. Appropriate sediment control measures will be taken to ensure that
sediment will not reach adjacent drainages or properties.
5. Dust will be controlled at all times on the entire site and access
road. Operations will cease immediately if dust cannot be
adequately controlled.
6. Any mud tracked on to County Road #2 will be removed by the
operator of the pit on a daily basis during hauling periods.
7. The boundary of the site will be staked to prevent encroachments on
adjacent properties.
8. Disturbed areas where mining has been completed will be reclaimed
on an annual basis and shall be reclaimed in a manor which
conforms to the natural adjacent topography.
