This process
may include "culling" which is to break the ore off of the waste
rock. Actual processing including crushing is not anticipated
at this time. During summer months this process can be done
outside, however as winter approaches, the shop may have to
be utiliz~:d.
The comment "We must, however, take steps to keep run-off
water where it belongs and not in the workings." was to address
tt~e issue of run-off water during rare seasonal periods. Richard
Mullaney of the USDA Soil Consevation Service verbally suggested
th~~ use of berms and ditches to direct this run-off water.
Our intent is to utilize such berms and ditches to keep water
from running into the portal and direct it into the natural
run-off system.
We have contacted Mr. Gerald Addyman of the Colorado
Division of Mines Concerning proper handling of explosives.
The proposed operation is in compliance with these regulations.
Since ely,
H rrK yrvriyc ~
Enclosure
